I’ve been on a Little Debbie kick recently… So I decided to pick up some Swiss Rolls and try my hand at turning these into cake pops!

I’ve had some personal issues with my Grandmother passing away… so, a few of these were eaten before I had a chance to make them… Sorry… If you really want me to feel better, you would buy the house in West Palm Beach, Florida and rid me of that headache. But I digress…

Open, Unwrap, and place into food processor.

Process for 15 – 20 seconds until all combined.

They were very tacky and sticky, so I put the entire bowl into the fridge for 30 minutes, then I formed my balls. The six Swiss Rolls that were *sacrificed* made 9 cake balls.

Back into the fridge again for another 30 minutes before dipping.

Melt Chocolate Candy wafers and dip cake pops and cake truffles. I used a Wilton Icing Writer to make the top swirl to match the inside swirl of the Swiss Roll.

These turned out wonderful! If you’re a big fan of Little Debbie Swiss Rolls, these shouldn’t be missed!

    2. I love your blog, I hope you can help me. when I dip the cake pops into the candy melts after letting them cool in the refrigerator, I noticed that some of them have some cracks, could you please tell me what i am doing wrong?? Thank you for taking your time.

    3. OH MY GOSH!!!!! Swiss cake rolls are my most favorite things in the world. And some reason since they are in cake pop form this excites me to no extent. Stopped by way of a linky party when I saw your cute little chick cake pops. Totally pinned this brilliant idea!

      1. Eventually they did dry. It may have taken longer than I would have liked, but they did dry. I've started using Cookie Icing which is Royal Icing. It dries hard, but still takes a bit of drying time depending on the amount you use and how thick you apply it.
