Picnic in the Park – Cupcakes to Go!

    PS+Picnic+Pushup+Cupcakes+(38)
Everyone love cupcakes! It’s hard to resist that yummy cake and frosting in a mini personalized serving.
But, have you tried to bring cupcakes to an outdoor picnic? In the middle of summer? In the Mid-Atlantic?
Talk about a melting mess after an hour!
    Gross!
    My suggestion…

Get some Push Up Pop Containers. There are many available in stores and online. I’m using the Wilton Treat Pops that I found at Michael’s. ir?t=psbusa23 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00C4Y7H74
I think these are the bee’s knees when wanting a cupcake at an outdoor family reunion!
Put the cap on them and they go right into the cooler and stay there, cold and unmelted, until you reach in to grab one.

Making them is very easy. Simply bake your cake in a Jelly Roll Panir?t=psbusa23 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B000SSS26I. If you’re using a cake mix, you’ll use about half the batter in the pan.
Once it’s baked and cooled, it’s just a process of punching out circles and filling the containers.
