Hahahaha!!!
I made Pink Candy Dipped Frozen Bananas!
Because my kid asked if they could be PINK!!!
Besides.... Chocolate Bananas are done by everyone... So, I wanted to be different :)
I started off my researching my frozen Banana techniques.
Most people peeled the banana and then froze them. I came across one that said NOT to peel the banana and therefore you will not have brown spots on the bananas.
So, that's what I did. I think it was kind of a mistake.
I had to remove the peel with a knife and cut it off. It wasn't the smartest thing to do.
PEEL the banana, cut them in half, insert a wooden craft stick about 3 inches into the cut banana and freeze for several hours.
Melt your candy melts at 30 second intervals until completely melted. Keep stirring and DON'T overheat it. Get your desired sprinkles and garnishes ready.
Transfer the melted candy into a tall glass or plastic Solo cup.
Remove one banana from the freezer, dip and quickly sprinkle.
Return to freezer until you're ready to eat and enjoy!
Stay Cool this Summer!
