Brownie Cookie Bars

First off, I would like to congratulate my TWO winners of the Chocolate Truffles with Chocolate covered Kona Coffee Beans! Brenda Combs and Karen A-B! Please send me an e-mail to collect your Truffles!

Second, I've been in a mad dash since Christmas and haven't had time to really, bake-bake. You know, from scratch... I'm a busy working mom - not super mom.
For Christmas, my husband bought me one of those funny All Edges Brownie pans. He was super excited and really, really wanted me to write about it.

So, I picked up a box of Betty Crocker Supreme Bars with Brownies AND Chocolate Chip Cookies baked together. What is not ti like?? In the words of Joey from "Friends" - "Cookies; Good! Brownies; Good!"
I followed the directions and baked them up! I was a bit worried that the mixture would not be enough. The brownie layer looked pretty thin and the cookie batter was very thick.

It was a bit difficult add the mixture into the pan. The edges made it hard to get around, but I managed.
Now, I actually really, really like the center piece of brownie the best!
I don't seek an edge or a corner, I want the soft and chewy inside piece. That is the little slice of heaven that I covet.
However... I did eat at least half the pan. I'm not that picky :)
Doesn't that look Scrumptious?!?!
These tasted GREAT! I was very happy with the outcome of the boxed cookie/brownie.
There was more than enough once they were cooked and cooled.
I would make these again! Great for picnics, bake sales, church luncheons and book clubs.
