Due to the recent bombardment of cake pop requests (Thank You!) I have updated the site with prices. I am exploring the addition of using PayPal and Google Checkout for online sales.
I hope that I have answered all of your questions. If I have missed anything, please let me know. If I have not addressed any questions, please send me an e-mail.

Thank you all so much for your interest and shared love of yummy treats!

Veteran Institute of Procurement Conference

 I "catered" my first conference!
I would like to say Thank You to Ms. A of C2 Portfolio for contacting me to provide cupcakes for her client conference. She let me run with it and told me to showcase my wears. So, I did! I made 60 mini cupcakes in the shape of a Veteran's Flag, milk chocolate with a coffee bean cake pops, lemon cake pops, Oreo cookie pops, brownie pops rolled in cayenne infused chocolate and walnuts, and triple

Back to Sanity....

My second delivery of 400 cake pops went smoothly on Thursday morning. After that, I treated myself to a relaxing massage and facial. I have been waiting for 6 months to use the Birthday present Gift Certificate and thought this was the perfect timing.
Today, I am making Cookie Truffles! What is a Cookie Truffle?? Take a bag of Oreos or Nutter Butters, add cream cheese, roll into a ball and dunk into melted chocolate! Except I don't want to use cream cheese. I want my truffles to be able to travel for several days and not worry about being refrigerated. Also, I can't use cream cheese in products for the farmer's market... So tonight I am conducting a taste test with friends. I made four recipes; an Oreo with cream cheese and an Oreo with vanilla frosting; and a Nutter Butter with cream cheese and a Nutter Butter with vanilla frosting with peanut butter (for extra peanutty taste).
Also, this weekend, I would like to make some Easter Pops! I have the ducky, but I would like to make some Easter eggs and a sheep.

400 Cake Pops

This is what 400 cakes pops looks like!
It may not look too impressive, but it sure is in person! I am half way through with the 800 cake pops and I must admit that the first half was not too bad. I had help from two friends, so that helped cut my time in half!  Thank y
I also had my final cake project this past Saturday. I pre-made some buttercream flowers and rosettes to add to my carrot cake with chocolate cream cheese frosting. We made some roses as well, but I chose not to add them to my cake. I hope that the next class starts on Saturday.
This weekend I have to prepare for a little girls 4th Birthday with Butterfly and Flower cupcakes and Tinkerbell inspired cake pops! I am looking forward to that creation!

Super Sale!

I am gearing up for some big-time baking this weekend! I am sending my daughter off to her Grandparents and enlisting the help of friends to complete a huge order. I am preparing to make 400 cake pops to deliver next Wednesday! That's correct - 400. It is NOT a typo - FOUR HUNDRED cake pops to deliver on the 9th and another 400 to deliver on the 16th. Grand Total of 800 cake pops!
There is also a special Tinkerbell Birthday cupcake and cake pop delivery on the 13th. My Cake Decorating final is this Saturday and then the second decorating course starts the following Saturday. And my daughter has an all day field trip that I am chaperoning on the the 10th. Busy, busy, busy...
I must say that I am excited, nervously excited, but excited none the less. I know I can do this and I have complete faith in myself to get it done! That is, however, if my oven does not explode, or the mixer blows up, or a major natural disaster doesn't blow my house down... OMG... What am I doing?
Think happy thoughts... happy, happy thoughts.. breathe... Sorry, I'm better now.
So wish me luck! And if you don't hear from me for the next two weeks, you know why. :)
